POSITION SUMMARY
Complete payments and assist with controlling expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This position compiles and records time for payroll data entry.

Essential Functions Statements

  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Process payment requests, including employee expense reports.
  • Pay vendors by scheduling and preparing checks; assist in resolving purchase orders, contact vendors regarding invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensure credit is received for outstanding memos; issue stop payments.
  • Maintain filing system, both manually and electronically.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries.
  • Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly.
  • Compile employee time, production and payroll data from time sheets and other records, complete time processing steps to assure time is correct for payroll data input.
  • Keep track of employee leave time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Distribute and collect timecards each pay period.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE Previous office experience required.
