POSITION SUMMARY
Sell and process orders for spare or replacement parts and equipment in main shop.

Essential Functions Statements
❖ Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
❖ Operate company vehicles.
• Receive and fill orders for parts received by telephone, fax, and email.
• Assist in answering telephone calls.
• Fill customer orders from stock.
• Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.
• Read catalogs or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers or prices.
• Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests or
customers' descriptions of malfunctions. Inquire with knowledgeable personnel, if necessary, to
determine corrective action or parts needed.
• Advise customers on substitutions or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
• Examine returned parts for defects and exchange defective parts or refund money. Tag for service
inspection when applicable.
• Prepare service quotes on computer using Microsoft Word.
• Prepare sales orders and invoices on computer using Sage software.
• Take inventory of stock.
• Mark and store parts in stockroom according to prearranged systems.
• Place new merchandise on display.
• Straighten and dust shelves as time allows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required.
