Illinois Oil Marketing Equipment is a leading manufacturing company specializing in petroleum/oil tanks. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY
Produce tanks and non-tank related items according to specifications and instructions.

Essential Functions Statements

• Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC) on a variety of metals.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and shape metal components.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of finished products.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  
  POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience as a welder fabricator.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform the job effectively.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and a team player.

EXPERIENCE
Two years welding experience preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

EDUCATION
High School Graduate or High School eqivulant: Required

WORK ENVIRONMENT Typical manufacturing environment.
